From certain qualities of a found taxonomy - warped, furry, shifty - a new member arises that fits within the mix. Using digital imaging, modeling and rendering, the new specimen becomes a novel, architectural-scaled object. While not a building, this para-site is inherently spatial.

Once decanted, the specimen seeks out a site somewhere in the world to occupy. Drawn to the vitality of urban conditions, the para-site latches onto existing contexts, leeching the life-force out of its predecessors. Once sated, the specimen will slink back into the sea to search for its next meal.
